We will probably not have any beef this year 😞 Our hope is so have garden fresh produce such as couple types of tomatoes, cucumbers, zuchini, few types of peppers, green beans and who knows what else. Stay tuned and hang around the Boone County Missouri Farmers Market. We hope to see you there!

On Opening Day we will have vendors with homegrown tomatoes, cucumbers, eggs, frozen chickens (whole and pieces), sourdough breads, gluten free breads, focaccias, ciabattas, cookies, cinnamon rolls, scones, granola, jams, jellies, tomato plants, pepper plants, herb plants, lemonade, soaps, lip balms and more.
We'll have lots more new products throughout the spring and summer as more fruits and vegetables ripen in mid-Missouri!! Follow us for updates and please share our posts!

We have eggs, and more than enough for our family of 4. So we are thinking of various recipes that we could use eggs or looking up ideas on Pinterest. Tonight we did crustless quiche and the kids loved it! Basics - eggs, cheese, breakfast sausage, onions, broccoli & little milk. Used what veggies we had and thought would be good in it. We used sausage rather than hamburger which ended up being a bit more breakfast style. 🤷‍♀️
Anyways, got some eggs used up, kids ate good, low carb and it's easy to reheat.

It's been a while from our last post. Sorry to keep you in the dark! Life gets busy doing other things after market season.

Regardless, we had a Halloween party tonight and we made these deviled eggs that were a hit! Thanks to Pinterest for the idea. These deviled eggs include mayonnaise, mustard, little bit of relish and green food coloring. The black olives on top cut in half created this cute monster eye affect.

What cool things have you all done with deviled eggs?

Go check out Jenn at the Sweetest Thing Cupcakery. Last day for this market season is Thursday for her! Don't forget you can message her in between market seasons for yummy baked goods. Last year our family got s'more and cherry chocolate chip cookies for our Christmas and they were amazing.

Thursday’s is my LAST market of the season! Make plans to attend from 3-5pm at the Forum Christian Church to get your last taste of the season!

Come see us tomorrow and maybe come earlier as it looks like temperatures will get hot! Bring a cooler if you plan on buying beef unless you plan on cooking same day or next!
Our chickens haven't been laying much. If we have any eggs for tomorrow those will go quick!
Picking fresh veggies now! We have had a few interested in green tomatoes so we'll bring a handful of green tomatoes too.
