Ended previous rug. Started a new rug. Diluted school glue on the edge and the edge where the weft starts. This one will be a green pattern with a bit of charcoal and off white. Will start it tomorrow. Have to let the glue dry to keep hem stable while I beat weft in to make a durable rug. After about 3 picks (rows) the hem won't be disturbed. The top (shorter) blind slat is just to keep the last pick of warp tight. It will be removed before I start weaving again.

Two of the rugs I'm making on this warp. The end of one with woven warp to make hem, and blind slat to start next rug straight. Diluted school glue spread on all edges. Including edge of hem just before next weft for rug. It helps stabilize it for beating weft in for tight rug. I have to wait for it to dry before weaving.

We put on a new apron, the fabric with grommets for bunches of warp to tie on. All tied on to start new rugs.

All through the heddles and reed. Warp hanging down from reed. After the photo, I'll put all of it on top of the be**er (reed is inside the be**er) so the cats don't go after it.

Just got a new warp on my Studio loom with the help of my good friend Misty. Now I'm tying the new warp to the old so I can just gently pull it through the heddles and reed instead of threading it individually. The new warp is all black.
