Shoutout Michael and Rots for always killing it
We're a small urban farm based in Iowa City, and thanks to innovative local chefs and supportive community that values local food, we have been in constant daily production- thousands of lbs per year, since 2019. We don't have a multi-million dollar facility- margins on any kind of small scale farming are much smaller than you'd think --our equipment and methods are entirely a result of trial and error going back well over a decade and cobbled together from mostly reclaimed materials (mostly from Iowa City ReStore !), physical locations, time that could have been wasted in the pursuit of less fruitful goals, and grown on the waste products of other industries. Rot's Bounty thinks and acts much like the fungi it cultivates- thank you so much for keeping it alive!
