Couple of pictures from the last few weeks. Queens are brooding up nicely preparing for the spring split season. While doing the first round of full winter work throughs, we have been collecting propolis for future products. There have been two colonies that have made a propolis wall at the entrance of their colony. Not sure why they decided they needed that but it was very generous of them! As the days warm up, flowers start to green, we are very excited for this season and some 2026 white dot HHT queens!

Happy New Year! 🎊 ✨🐝🍯

As we move into the new year and look back at 2025, we cannot help but feel incredibly grateful. Grateful for you, our supporters, the community for allowing us to become a part of your daily lives, our family and friends for the continued support and encouragement, our hardworking bees, and Mother Nature.

We have come further this year than we ever expected, and that is entirely due to your continued support.

This year, we tripled our total colony count, improved our production facilities, and acquired new equipment for processing honey, including an extractor that is 10x bigger and 100x faster than our previous one, a new honey bottling system to keep quality consistent, and much more.

We are excited to bring new things in 2026. We have several great products in the pipeline, including hot honey, comb honey, tinted lip balm, and more. We also plan on stepping up our content game. It is time to give you a deeper look into our operation, and for those interested in beekeeping, we will be sharing more educational and operational content as well.

From our family to yours, thank you for being a part of our journey. We wish you a blessed, prosperous, and healthy New Year!

As we start to wrap up the summer season, we’ve got a little more availability to help the community with honey bee removals. We recently had the opportunity to assist at the Barney M. Davis Power Plant, relocating a large colony that was living on top of an elevator shaft roof. The hive was a little over 190 feet from ground level. A crane was used to move the equipment up to the roof and to give the bees a nice, slow flight down to ground level for relocation. It was definitely an experience and the most exciting removal we’ve done so far.

You’ll also see some pictures of other hives we’ve removed—the first from FBISD Intermediate School, and the third from a farmhouse near Sinton.

The girls are still doing very well and have already started their preparations for winter, storing honey and pollen to carry them through into the next spring season. Most of the colonies are still brooding up nicely with sheets of brood and strong, healthy populations. Keeping mite levels down and making sure their bellies are full is how we do our part as beekeepers to support the colonies’ health and wellbeing until spring, when Mother Nature takes back over and provides that sweet, sweet nectar for the delicious Texas wildflower honey we all enjoy!
