Our hens are enjoying their new coop! We have 7 layers. They’re laying about 3 dozen eggs a week.

We have two sets of chicks. 🐥

The oldest 5 we got in February and we’ve started letting them hang out with the big hens some {with supervision}. Hopefully they’ll be laying eggs sometime this summer. 🥚

The youngest 7 we hatched from eggs in March and they recently moved to our outdoor brooder box. Jury is still out on whether we have hens or roosters. I think we have 6 hens and 1 rooster. We shall see!

Spring is coming!!

Our little flock is laying eggs and we’re ready to welcome more baby chicks soon!

Let us know if you would like to be on our egg list! Our girls are producing about 2-3 dozen a week right now.

We’ll keep a list and text when we have some ready.

The kids will be using egg money to learn about expenses and profit, tithing, saving and planning for growth.

We had a super busy holiday season and are ready to be back and creating for you all this spring!! We had a fun surprise today when we got home— our hens have laid their very first egg!! 🥚

Hoping to have lots more soon. Store bought white egg in photos for comparison. Pretty good size for the first one.

Mom makes each cocoa bomb, and the rest of us help with packaging and shipping (while secretly hoping one cracks so we can “taste-test” it 😉).
