We bought our farm over two years ago and since then this momma has not really left the farm over night unless it was to pick up some animal. Usually a goat or lamb but it’s always a quick trip.

However, I finally decided to take a much needed mini vacation to put my toes in the sand. 2026 has been filled with so many ups and downs. I really hope this time away will allow me to come back even better and ready to achieve some goals I’ve set for our farm!

But until then I’m going to keep my toes in the sand and a drink in my hand!

Thank goodness the goats are not offended by my bed head. Up and at it early this morning because we are headed to our first ADGA goat show. Fingers crossed for a great day filled with learning, laughter and great friends. So glad for our group of friends who push me out of my comfort zone and inspire us to try new things.

Guys!! What a day!

To say our faces hurt from so much smiling would be an understatement. Mylee did so great today! We are so proud of these wins but I am even prouder of how we all work together as a family. While we were out at the show dad (Shaun Landon) was holding down the farm and the kids made sure all the other critters were taken care of.

Hard work always shows. All those late nights in the barn and endless days really show up on show day ❤️
