PIÑA FUEGO 🍍🍍 Our first SUPER-HOT sauce of the year!

We loaded this batch with a ridiculous amount of fresh super-hot peppers straight from our garden, then paired them with fresh pineapple juice, lime, onion, garlic, and bell peppers. It's bright, tropical sweetness up front followed very quickly by an extreme, lingering burn that reminds you exactly what you signed up for.

Peppers in this sauce:
White Ghost, T-Rex Red, Chocolate Apocalypse Scorpion, Dragon’s Breath, 7 Pot Yellow Brain Strain, Orange Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, 7 Pot Bubblegum, Moruglah Yellow, Yellow Naga Viper, 7 Pot Iowa Twister, and RB003 peppers.

Come visit us at the Valley Junction Farmers Market tonight, September 10, from 4-8PM to try a sample.

We will also be at the Des Moines Downtown Farmers Market this Saturday, September 12, from 7am-12pm.

The 4th Annual Hot Pepper Eating Competition is back at the Valley Junction Farmers Market on Thursday, Sept. 17, and we've determined the final pepper lineup!

Here’s what our 12 contestants are up against:
1. Lemon Spice Jalapeño
2. KS Lemon Starrburst
3. Red Savina Habanero
4. White Ghost
5. Crazy Tails Yellow
6. Chocolate Apocalypse Scorpion
7. RB003
8. Chocolate Primotalii
9. Dragon’s Breath

Every competitor walks away with an exclusive event t-shirt just for stepping up to the plate, but the top three will take away:

We’re back at the Downtown Farmers' Market - DSM this weekend and we’re bringing a fresh batch of Pineapple Apple Peno!

We got a beautiful harvest of jalapeños from farmbaby_ia and we had to make this sauce. One of our favorite mild sauces, perfect for hot summer days.

Survive nine brutal rounds of escalating heat, keep your composure, and outlast everyone else to earn the title of 2026 Valley Junction Farmers Market Hot Pepper Eating Champion. Only 12 competitors get a shot.
