The first honey pull of the year is officially underway 🍯🐝

Spent the day in the bee yard with the youngest apiarist at Itawamba Honey Co. pulling some BEAUTIFUL frames of capped honey. There’s just something special about seeing the next generation learn the work, respect the bees, and love the process.

And yes… this means fresh local honey will be hitting stores and headed to customers SOON 👏🏼🍯 Stay tuned!

Spring is showing off 🍯🌼

Our bees are working overtime and the frames are filling up fast…this year’s spring crop is coming on strong! You can see that fresh, bright comb being drawn and packed… that’s the kind of progress we love this time of year.

This is what a good flow looks like…warm days, blooming fields, and busy bees doing what they do best.

We’re getting closer to harvest… and trust us, it’s going to be a good one. 🐝💛

Spring is waking everything up over here… and that means one thing at Itawamba Honey Co 🍯🐝

Our new queen mating nucs are officially set up and thriving.

These little colonies may be small, but they’re powerful. Each one is raising a future queen….strong, productive, and ready to lead a hive into a full honey flow. It’s one of the most important parts of what we do, and it’s always a sign that the season is shifting.

And y’all… it’s looking GOOD. 🌼

The blooms are coming on, the bees are working steady, and everything is lining up for a beautiful spring honey season. If the weather keeps cooperating, it won’t be long before those supers start filling up.

Good queens. Strong hives. Full fields.

Afternoons like this mean one thing… spring honey is coming. 🍯 🐝🌿

Today we set up queen bee mating nucs: small hives where new queens are raised and mated. A strong queen means a strong hive… and strong hives are what bring in that spring honey. 🍯

This work now directly impacts our upcoming honey flow.

And it’s not just for us…
👉 We also raise and sell queen bees to help other beekeepers build healthy hives too.

It all starts here.
