North Shore Farmers Collective Farmers are all from the Duluth region. The group started in 2021 and will be offering subscriptions again for 2022.

The North Shore Farmers Collective is a group of beginning women farmers coming together to offer monthly bundles of seasonal vegetables, fruits, and other farm products all from the Duluth region. The North Shore Farmers Collective is a group of beginning women farmers coming together to offer monthly boxes of seasonal vegetables, fruits and other farm products. Boxes are offered as a monthly sub

scription, where customers pay up front and receive boxes throughout the growing season. Though similar to, this is not a conventional CSA. Boxes are not meant to supply all customers' veggies for the season, but instead offer a curated selection including classic seasonal veggies, unique fresh herbs, and shelf-stable farm products like dried beans, teas, and honey. This collaboration supports nine different farms as they establish their businesses and strengthen our regional food system. This project aspires to grow in coming years and be a viable marketing opportunity for other beginning farmers in and around Duluth.
