Something new is growing here this spring.

I’ll be opening the garden to a small group of women for a hands-on community focused on gardening, food preservation, and the everyday rhythms of homestead life.

It will be practical, relational, and intentionally small.

I’m honored to represent Oklahoma as a Fund for Teachers Fellow this summer! 🌿 I’ll be heading to the UK to learn directly from leaders in sustainable agriculture, no-dig gardening, and farm-to-table practices.

Throughout this journey, I’ll explore innovative ways to bring hands-on, real-world learning back to my students through a new Fart to Table Club and Duncan High School’s Internship Program.

From muddy boots in the market garden to flip charts in the classroom, I can’t wait to connect what I learn to the work we’re doing here at home.

recently shared a walking tour of her garden and WOW—it was the reminder I needed that you can do a lot with just a little space. Inspired, I pulled the fabric off my half-planted 🤦🏼‍♀️ in-ground garden and transplanted everything into two 41”x25’ raised beds—and I’m so glad I did!

Squash, okra, corn, and lavender are all going in 🌱💪 I can already picture it thriving! Next up: border, mulch, and shade cloth!

If you’ve ever felt stuck or overwhelmed with your space, let this be your sign—it doesn’t have to be perfect to get started 🌿
