We had a wonderful time in our Chalk Couture Workshop this morning! These ladies were a delight in every way!!
Wrenly (who is 4) chalked the sweetest trio of little animals!! As adorable as they were - Wrenly was the cutest in every way!

Lots of first time chalkers who created BEAUTIFUL designs! They were a lovely group to work with! And so fun to know they will be back soon!

Jared’s Jams WELCOMES Spring! March has flown by with snow, warm days, cold wind & brrr days - so very grateful for the beautiful sunshine today!

I have a new Purple Martin house up in our yard - awaiting the arrival of the martins, even though they are typically later for us than for many!

It’s definitely looking like Spring has arrived in the shop!!
We want to share a SHOUT OUT to the amazing vendors in our shop! By the way we will be offering in the days ahead a fun collaborative box for your gift giving and/or shipping! It’s here!! Bankhead’s Candies Easter candy has arrived!!
So many possibilities! Eggs - filled with peanut butter, caramel or marshmallow! Large or small bunnies - look at the adorable details on each! Some bunny spent a lot of time making each one adorable!
Milk or dark chocolate sweet creations to gift or share with your loved ones!
Turtles - Bankhead’s caramel specialty come in 2 packs, 4 pack, 1/2 lb or one lb packs are available.
They are going fast so be sure to get yours while supplies last!!

Jared’s Jams hosted two sourdough classes yesterday! A regular class in the morning and a gluten free class in the afternoon! It was such fun!

The pictures we’ve been seeing of everyone’s baked loaves are beautiful proof of your delicious success! The sourdough baking journey is not difficult; it does not require special tools or skills! We break it down with you - it’s so much easier than you think it might be! And so good for you!

You take home a loaf you’ve made in class to bake & sourdough starter for you future baking adventures! The possibilities are endless - with active starter for loaves of bread or cakes, bagels & more! Or use your discard for cookies, brownies, pancakes, banana bread, doughnuts, granola, fruit crisps & more!

We want you to enjoy the health benefits of sourdough baking while allowing you to easily add it to your family’s busy schedule!
The sweet sourdough community that has grown throughout our region is remarkable - we are blessed to meet so many amazing people!

Jared Niemeyer, the founder of Jared’s Jams has officially expanded his handcrafted preserves into HyVee grocery stores in both Quincy and Kirksville.

Jared’s Jams is now set up in Quincy Hyvee on Broadway in Quincy Illinois.
Our 2 jam racks are located in the front of the Bakery area, with cookie tables between the 2 racks. We are in the first aisle of the store - as you walk toward the bakery, you will spot our racks!

So excited to be here!! This is our third HyVee (Kirksville & now both Quincy HyVee’s). With God’s grace we hope to continue growing those numbers!
