Root Ready Sod was born in the heart of Oklahoma's sod industry, where our founder's journey began in 1996 at Canadian Valley Sod in Oklahoma City. After 11 years honing expertise in turf production and logistics, we launched Southern Sod in 2007, bridging farming and installation while uncovering the need for innovation. This led to our 2011 Oklahoma Innovator of the Year award for our soilless g

rowing technology. Venturing into organic food production, we pioneered Upward Harvest in 2013—the state's first certified organic aquaponic farm—mastering sustainable methods for fruits, vegetables, and livestock.
