This Mother’s Day feels a little extra special 💐🤍

This year, I became a mom.

And while I always knew motherhood would change me… I never could’ve imagined just how much love, perspective, gratitude, and purpose it would bring into my life.

It’s made me slow down a little more, soak in the little moments, and appreciate all the beauty in the everyday—even on the hard days.

It’s also given me an even deeper appreciation for all the moms out there doing their best every single day. The ones balancing it all, showing up with love, carrying so much, and somehow continuing to give so much of themselves.

I’m especially grateful for my mom, , who taught me what it means to be a strong, resilient woman—to work hard, love big, and lead with heart. I wouldn’t be who I am today without her.

Motherhood is beautiful, exhausting, emotional, messy, rewarding, and life-changing all at once—and I feel so grateful to be experiencing it 💛

To all the moms, mother figures, pet moms, moms-to-be, and those holding space for loss, longing, or love in all its forms…I’m thinking of you too🫶

🐝 Vendor Spotlight: Anellabees 💛

With Mother’s Day right around the corner, we wanted to spotlight one of our favorite mother-daughter brand stories 🥹

Back in 2017, Danielle and her daughter Anella started Anellabees together as a little passion project with a simple goal: create honey-based candies made with real ingredients and without all the unnecessary extras.

What started as a sweet little idea between a mom and daughter quickly grew into a beloved Colorado brand known for its delicious honey candies, thoughtful ingredients, and commitment to sustainability 🐝✨

And the best part?The company is named after Anella herself 💛

At the time, Anella was just 5 years old—and today, she’s still the inspiration behind the brand that so many people have come to know and love.

As a new mom myself, stories like this just hit a little differently these days 🥹There’s something so special about seeing a mother and daughter build something together that started from love, creativity, and intention.

This season is a good reminder of just how special local food really is 💛

The recent frost on the Western Slope will likely mean a lighter fruit season this year—but our farmers are doing what they always do: adapting, pivoting, and continuing to grow incredible food for our community.

And honestly, that’s part of the beauty of eating local.

It’s seasonal. It’s ever-changing. It’s deeply connected to the land, the weather, and the people behind it all.

Even in a year that may look a little different, there is still so much goodness ahead 🌱

From fresh greens and summer squash to tomatoes, corn, peppers, peaches, and more—we still have an incredible season to look forward to.

Now more than ever, supporting small family farms matters. One of the most meaningful ways to do that is through our Summer CSA—directly investing in the farmers who grow your food and helping strengthen our local food system.
