Wesley and Jeremy started a small lemonade stand in 2017 at just 7 and 4 years old. They
participated with the nationally recognized junior achievement program and with their support
and resources were able to dive into the world of entrepreneurial development and innovation. In 2019 Wesley and Jeremy won peoples choice stand in Elkhart County. They wanted to
pursue developing a bigger operation but the dreaded 2020 Covid era put them on hiatus for
two years. In 2023 they came back with wisdom and confidence and built a stand with classic lemonade
and Arnold Palmers, bottled water and cookies and popcorn. They won Elkhart County Youth
Entrepreneurs of 2023 and were invited to set up at the incredible Elkhart County Jazz festival. With community support, they were able to save, share and spend their profits that they made. They raised over $250 for a local animal rescue, Here Kitty Kitty Rescue. They rewarded themselves with a new VR Headset. And finally reinvesting into their stand so they could purchase the materials needed to build
their very own pneumatic fruit smasher along with a commercial fruit slicer and various other
necessities That would lead to a made to order fresh squeezed lemonade stand. The Future
While working with our great Elkhart County community, we have listened to what you want
and will continue to implement new exciting products and flavors. We have added a few Dirty
Soda’s to the menu this year as well as some premium lemonade flavors like Orange
Dreamsicle and Mangonada. We will be finishing up our mobile unit to prepare that for our
counties health inspector. This will allow us to be available for more events in the future. While we enjoy serving our community, Our hope is to reach out to other Autistic families
that would like to experience how to operate a lemonade stand. Opening up our space to work
along side us for a short LIVE run during an event or setting up the tent at our home to be able
to have this experience outside of the crowds to build confidence and understanding.
