What started as a "hobby" farm has become a farm-to-table movement. We had noticed how our food is raised from the stores and watched the food chain collapse during COVID-19. We decided to do something about it. The farm's fresh free-range happy chickens produce the most beautiful eggs. Our Broiler chickens are raised with local feed from our co-op and are on pasture moved daily to encourage fresh

grazing and scratching. I raise a modest garden and love to teach others how to be self-sufficient. Scotty is in charge of our newest venture...Idaho Pasture Pigs. Well… turns out it happens with piglets too! 🐷

Apparently, mealtime at Tenacious Acres comes with just as much drama as mealtime at home. Someone is always pushing, shoving, and trying to make sure they get the best spot at the dinner table!

Peanut was snuck into a soccer game today… and somehow, NO ONE seemed to notice! 😂🐷⚽️

Tucked quietly into the sleeve of my shirt with a nice, full tummy, she was perfectly content to watch the game.

The only clue that I had smuggled a piglet into the soccer field? That little pink nose sticking out of my sleeve. 😂💗

Holy smokes! 14 beautiful Idaho Pasture Piglets! 🐷

These 14 beautiful Idaho Pasture Piglets made their way onto Tenacious Acres without much fanfare—but what an arrival!

Those tiny little piglets are curious, determined, and surprisingly mobile within an hour of birth! It’s incredible to watch them instinctively find their way around and begin exploring their new world almost immediately.

Another beautiful litter here at Tenacious Acres. We’re pretty smitten. ❤️

🐷 14 BEAUTIFUL BABIES! 🐷

We have 14 beautiful babies born this morning! Iris is doing absolutely spectacular, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with this litter. ❤️

We do have one little runt who will need to be hand-raised because she is only 1 pound 4 ounces. Basically… a little block of butter! 🧈🐷

For now, she’s tucked safely inside my shirt to keep her warm and getting frequent feedings of colostrum. She may be tiny, but she is a fighter!

🐷 7 perfectly beautiful piglets were born this afternoon!! 🐷

Lilly and Chubbs did good! ❤️ We have 7 adorable Idaho Pasture Pig piglets, and 4 are already reserved.
