Oneida Farm Market Oneida Farm Market was a dream for many years before I took the leap into making it reality. So where did we get our name?

I have always wanted to own my own store and after many years of falling in love with all the joys that gardening can bring, I decided this is where my heart was. I spent many years learning how to garden from my Dad and as I grew older our garden chats became a regular thing. In 2022 I lost my Dad and in 2023 I decided it was time to take this dream and show him all I can do with it as he watches

over me. I want to provide a place where people can come to get fresh local foods and know that with every item we sell lots of time and passion has gone into growing or making it. I believe very strongly about the quality of foods I am feeding my family and providing to our Community. Oneida was the street my Grandparents lived on, it was where my happiest childhood memories were made and where my cousins and I spent many of our summer days running through the woods and swimming in the nearby lake.

It is with a very heavy heart that I share this news… Oneida Farm Market will be permanently closing.

After exhausting every option, the costs of the legal requirements needed to remain fully compliant with township regulations have made it impossible for us to continue operating the market in its current form. This was not a decision I made lightly—in fact, it’s one that has truly broken my heart. But ultimately, it became the only path forward.

What started as a dream grew into something so much bigger because of all of you. I have been completely overwhelmed—in the best way—by the love, encouragement, and support this community has shown me. Every visit, every conversation, every familiar face stopping by… those moments meant more to me than I can ever properly put into words. You have all made a lasting impact on my life, and I will deeply miss seeing you.

While this chapter is coming to a close, this is not the end. I am already working on ways to continue my business in new and different forms, and I truly hope you’ll continue to support me as I pivot into these next adventures.

Thank you for believing in me, for supporting my dream, and for being such an important part of this journey. 💗

Snowflakes are supposed to fall tomorrow but the weather is going to get warm this week and thoughts of spring might creep in but I have been dreaming of this for this for months. ❤️

Garden planning was underway even as snowflakes drifted from the sky, seeds were ordered when the temperature sat well below freezing outside, and I longed to feel my hands back in the dirt. Well, the time has come and I want to share with you where and how the produce you buy this summer starts.

Knowing where your food comes from is important. But the produce from our market comes not only from clean growing techniques but is grown with lots of love! Heirloom seeds will be tucked into high quality organic potting soil to start the process and be placed in the nursery for me to baby until they sprout. Once they sprout I will move them here (see the picture below) where they will build strong roots and I’ll talk to them like a weirdo😂 so now you know….this is where your food comes from. Sprouted with love from yours truly. 🥰🌱

I’m so excited for what we will be growing this year!!
