These pasture raised Narragansett heritage breed turkeys are fed organic feed, never given antibiotics, and nurtured to have as happy and healthy a domestic turkey life as possible. Their rotational pastures are extensively fenced and netted, providing them the freedom to flap and fly, while securing them from predators. Heritage breeds are sustainable, meaning that I can, and do, keep a breeding

flock and hatch their eggs. This can't be done with the artificially inseminated commercially raised large breasted white turkey. So purchasing a heritage breed helps preserve the long lost (almost) genetics of centuries of breeding, along with providing the most tasty flavorful turkey meat you can buy.
