Meet The Rattlesnake from Deer Creek Cheese in Wisconsin! It’s an unexpected hit of heat diced up on a cheese board or melted on a burger. I don’t typically associate clothbound (that’s the wrapping I’m peeling off in the first photo) cheddars with summer, but this one, studded with habanero peppers and soaked in tequila, is right at home by the grill. Shred it in tacos, crumble on street corn, or mix into a melty fondue for chips and dip with a spicy kick that begs for an ice-cold cerveza to wash it all down. Plus, check out that hand drawn label 🤩
