Light Up The City Flint

Light Up The City Flint Light Up The City Flint is a community outreach effort to bring light to the city of Flint, Michigan.

Light Up The City Flint brings local law enforcement together with the community of Flint, MI to develop lasting positive relationships. This monthly event runs from April through September across numerous neighborhoods in Flint. With a partnership with Consumers Energy, we are able to provide energy efficient light bulbs to the community to help neighbors light up their neighborhood. Then through

partnerships with Elga Credit Union, Walmart, Cumulus Media, Flint Neighborhoods United and many others, we hold a block party each month featuring music, hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, activities for the kids, a parade and much more.

We are very excited to announce our Block Party Schedule for 2019!! We will post more information when we get closer. This is a FREE event with music, great food, fun stuff for the kids, face painting, pop corn, cotton candy, activities with the Police and Fire Departments and much much more!

Today is the day! Don't you think its time you saw what all the buzz is about? Light Up The City is in Cook Park tonight from 5 to 8. FREE Hot dogs, FREE Popcorn, FREE Cotton Candy, FREE Cake, FREE Sandwiches, FREE Face painting and crafts for the kids, FREE music thanks to B Mac and 92.7 FM, FREE t-shirt and much much more. The Red Cross has FREE smoke detectors they will install for FREE. Everyone is welcome - come out and see us!!!!!
