❤️ THE LOCAL MARKET NEEDS YOUR INPUT! ❤️
Life has been BUSY around here, and I know it's been a while since you've seen much activity from The Local Market! Between traveling with Dustin and Dustin Harris Racing, keeping up with the shop, and everything else life throws our way, the weeks have been flying by! 🏁❤️
We've been fortunate enough to travel and race quite a bit, but funny enough, a lot of our race weekends have fallen on some of the biggest days for a little farm stand business! 🇺🇸 Fourth of July, weekends when folks are getting ready for holidays, and now Thanksgiving is coming up, and we'll be out of town for that, too!
But that doesn't mean I've given up on The Local Market! 🥰 I've still got the desire to open the farm stand back up and bring some goodies, gifts, and seasonal items your way. Before I start putting everything together, though, I want to hear from YOU!
🎄🎁 If I open The Local Market back up for the holiday season, what would YOU like to see?
Would you be interested in things like:
🧼 Handmade soaps 💎 Jewelry and earrings (we've got some new things coming!) 🎁 Christmas gifts and small gift baskets 🕯️ Candles and seasonal scents 🍎 Jams, apple butter, honey, and other country goodies 🍪 Baked goods and sweet treats 🎄 Christmas decorations and farmhouse-style holiday items 🧺 Affordable gifts, stocking stuffers, and little something-for-everyone items
What about Thanksgiving goodies? Christmas gifts? Teacher gifts? Gifts for coworkers, friends, and family? I'd love to know what you'd actually stop by and purchase!
And I have another question I really want honest feedback on. ❤️
📍 Does the location of The Local Market keep you from stopping by?
For those who may not know, the farm stand is down our driveway by the shop, behind the house. It's not sitting right on the roadside. It's an enclosed, self-serve stand, so you can stop by, browse, and shop even when I'm not out there personally.
I've wondered if people see the driveway and hesitate to come down, if they aren't sure where to go, or if the self-serve setup makes people uncomfortable. Or is the location perfectly fine, and I just need to do a better job of letting everyone know what's available?
I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts! Would better signs at the road and driveway help? Would pictures of what's stocked inside make you more likely to stop? Would you prefer certain days or hours?
I don't want to stock a bunch of things that nobody is looking for. I'd rather listen to y'all and bring in things that make it worth your time to stop!
