🍓🎉 Franklin's Strawberry Stroll is Almost Here! 🎉🍓

One of our favorite Franklin traditions returns on **Thursday, June 12th from 4-8 PM!** Stroll downtown, enjoy live music, family fun, local businesses, and celebrate everything strawberry! 🍓

To help get you in the Strawberry Stroll spirit, we're sharing one of our favorite summer desserts featuring our Basil Olive Oil and Sweet Strawberry Balsamic.

✨ **Fresh Strawberry Shortcake with Basil Olive Oil & Sweet Balsamic Drizzle** ✨

# # # Ingredients

🍓 Strawberry Mixture
• 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
• 2 Tbsp honey
• 1 Tbsp Strawberry Dark Balsamic Vinegar
• 2 Tbsp fresh basil, finely chopped

🥮 Shortcakes
• 2 packages refrigerated homestyle biscuits

☁️ Whipped Cream
• 1½ cups heavy cream, chilled
• 3 Tbsp sugar
• 1½ tsp vanilla extract

# # # Instructions

1️⃣ In a bowl, combine strawberries, honey, Strawberry Dark Balsamic, and basil. Toss gently and let sit for 20-30 minutes.
2️⃣ Bake biscuits according to package directions. Allow to cool slightly.
3️⃣ Whip heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.
4️⃣ Split each biscuit in half. Spoon strawberries over the bottom half.
5️⃣ Add a generous dollop of whipped cream.
6️⃣ Place the top biscuit over the cream and finish with additional strawberries, whipped cream, and a light drizzle of Strawberry Dark Balsamic.
7️⃣ Serve immediately and enjoy!

🍕 The pizza that will make you never order delivery again — and it only takes 27 minutes. 🫒✨

Creamy burrata. Blistered cherry tomatoes. A perfectly charred crust. And the two secret weapons that make this pizza completely unforgettable:

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
INGREDIENTS:
• 3 tbsp Basil Olive Oil, divided
• 1 tbsp Strawberry Dark Balsamic
• 1 ball pizza dough (store-bought is totally fine!)
• ½ cup San Marzano crushed tomatoes
• 8 oz fresh burrata cheese
• 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
• 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
• ½ tsp red pepper flakes
• ½ tsp flaky sea salt
• Fresh basil leaves + cracked black pepper to finish

HOW TO MAKE IT:
1. Preheat oven to 500°F with a pizza stone inside for a full 30 minutes — don’t skip this, the hot surface is everything
2. Stretch dough into a 12-inch round on parchment paper
3. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce, scatter cherry tomatoes and garlic slices
4. Drizzle with 2 tbsp Basil Olive Oil, season with salt and red pepper flakes
5. Bake 10–12 minutes until crust is golden, charred in spots, and tomatoes are blistered
6. Pull from the oven and immediately tear burrata into large pieces over the hot pizza
7. Scatter fresh basil generously
8. Drizzle with remaining Basil Olive Oil + Strawberry Dark Balsamic
9. Finish with cracked pepper and flaky salt. Serve immediately!

🍋 This salad tastes exactly like summer feels. ☀️

Peppery arugula. Juicy cherry tomatoes. Creamy Parmesan. Toasted pine nuts. And a dressing made with our Lemon Olive Oil and Sicilian Lemon Balsamic that is so bright and citrusy you'll want to put it on everything.

This is the kind of recipe that looks like you spent hours on it — but takes exactly 10 minutes to make. 🙌

✨ Here's all you need:
• 4 cups fresh arugula
• 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
• ½ cup shaved Parmesan or crumbled feta
• ¼ cup toasted pine nuts

🧀 DIP 1 — JALAPEÑO QUESO DIP
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp Shop EVOO Jalapeño Olive Oil
• 16 oz white American or Velveeta cheese, cubed
• ½ cup whole milk or heavy cream
• 10 oz canned diced tomatoes & green chiles, drained
• 2 fresh jalapeños, seeded and minced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• ½ tsp cumin • ½ tsp smoked paprika
• Salt to taste • Fresh cilantro & jalapeño to garnish

Directions:
1. Heat Jalapeño Olive Oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Sauté garlic and jalapeños for 2 minutes.
2. Add cheese and milk. Stir constantly over medium-low heat until fully melted and smooth.
3. Stir in drained tomatoes, cumin, and paprika. Season with salt.
4. Serve in a warm bowl with a drizzle of Jalapeño Olive Oil and fresh cilantro. Keep warm in a slow cooker for parties!

🍅 DIP 2 — FRESH TOMATO SALSA
with Sicilian Lemon Balsamic
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp Shop EVOO Sicilian Lemon Balsamic
• 1 tbsp Shop EVOO Garlic Olive Oil
• 6 ripe Roma tomatoes, diced small
• ½ red onion, finely diced
• 2 jalapeños, seeded and minced
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
• 1 tsp salt • ½ tsp black pepper • Pinch of sugar

Directions:
1. Dice tomatoes and strain for 5 minutes to remove excess liquid.
2. Combine tomatoes, onion, jalapeños, garlic, and cilantro in a large bowl.
3. Drizzle in Sicilian Lemon Balsamic and Garlic Olive Oil. Toss gently and season.
4. Rest 15 minutes at room temperature before serving.

⭐ Pro Tip: Make this the night before — the Sicilian Lemon Balsamic makes it even better overnight!

🔥 DIP 3 — SMOKY CHIPOTLE SALSA ROJA
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp Shop EVOO Chipotle Olive Oil
• 1 tbsp Shop EVOO Traditional Dark Balsamic
• 6 Roma tomatoes, halved
• 4 dried guajillo or ancho chiles, stems removed
• 1 white onion, quartered
• 4 cloves garlic, unpeeled
• 1 tsp smoked paprika • 1 tsp cumin
• 1 tsp salt • ½ tsp black pepper
• Fresh cilantro to garnish

Directions:
1. Char tomatoes, onion, and garlic in a dry cast iron skillet until blackened on all sides — do not skip this, the char is everything!
2. Toast dried chiles 30 seconds per side, then soak in hot water 10 minutes. Drain.
3. Peel garlic and blend all charred vegetables, chiles, and spices to desired texture.
4. Fry blended salsa in Chipotle Olive Oil for 3–4 minutes until darkened and thickened.
5. Remove from heat and stir in Traditional Dark Balsamic — the secret weapon that makes this unforgettable. 🫒
