Long time no see! 🫶🏻

My health has been pretty rough lately, and I’ve had a surplus of appointments, scans and medical things taking up my time. With the kids back in school though, I finally have a little more breathing room to pour some energy back into my business and I’m so excited to get things moving again! 🌱

Our freeze dryer has been deep cleaned and is back in business! I already have two custom orders going into the freezer for this week and I’m officially taking requests for other freeze-dried goodies. If there’s something you’ve been wanting to see me make, send me a message!

🐾 Dog treats are still in the works!
The amount of red tape surrounding animal food while human food gets to live unregulated is honestly wild 😂 But I’m determined and I’m working through all the requirements so I can eventually bring those to you properly and safely.

🧁 Muffins are coming back on a regular schedule!
Starting back up with Monday morning and Thursday morning drop-offs. Flavor requests are always welcome, so tell me what you want to see in the case!

🌾 Gluten free options are coming, too!
As someone who has an intolerance myself, I know how frustrating it can be to walk into a bakery or grocery store and discover that avoiding gluten apparently requires taking out a second mortgage. 😂

I’m going to do my best to keep my gluten free options as affordable as possible. The replacement flours and specialty ingredients can be wildly more expensive, but I don’t want dietary restrictions to automatically mean you have to pay a fortune just to enjoy something yummy!

So, after a little health related hiatus, we’re getting back into the swing of things. 💚

Thank you for sticking around, supporting my little homestead business, placing orders, sharing posts and cheering me on even when I’ve been quiet.

I’m excited to get back in the kitchen, fire up the freeze dryer and start making things again!

Alright… what do we think of our label? 🤍

This is the design we submitted to the state!
It may evolve a little over time, but I couldn’t wait to share it because I’m genuinely so excited.

I’m especially proud knowing I created it myself in Canva.

Every new step in this journey makes it feel a little more real and I can’t wait to share what’s next!

A quick update for everyone who ordered our dog biscuits! 🐾

After discussing a potential partnership with some local pet groomers and doing a little more research, I discovered there are a few licensing and permit requirements that need to be completed before I can officially sell them.

The good news? Your biscuits are already made and all of my permit applications have been submitted! I was told the approval process can take up to 48 hours.

As soon as I receive the green light, I’ll reach out so everyone can pick up their orders.

Thank you all so much for your patience, support and understanding. I’m committed to doing things the right way, even if it means this short delay. I can’t wait to get these treats into your pups’ paws!! 🐶🦴

Many have tried and many have failed... but we finally cracked the code. 🍔✨

One of the trickiest candies to freeze dry is the iconic Krabby Patty. If I'm being completely honest, I LOVE Krabby Patties. They're one of my biggest candy weaknesses.

So when I got my hands on some mini Krabby Patties, I had to give them a shot. I'm happy to report they freeze dried beautifully, with the perfect light, crunchy texture while keeping all that nostalgic flavor.

Safe to say these are a new favorite! 💛

We've got a fun batch headed into the freeze dryer! 🍬✨

Krabby Patties have always been one of my guilty pleasures, and freeze dried gummy clusters are hands down one of my favorite treats, so I'm especially excited to see how the Berry Punch flavor turns out!

Now, if you've followed us for any length of time, you know our heart is rooted in wholesome, homemade, and holistic living. But we also believe that a healthy lifestyle leaves room for balance. Life is meant to be enjoyed, and sometimes that looks like fresh sourdough and homegrown berries... and sometimes it looks like a crunchy freeze-dried candy. 😉

Everything in moderation. That's the balance we're all about.
