Tunas have turned color! A few more weeks, and they'll be ready to eat. This plant has about 40. Birds will get a few, leaving me plenty.

Spring flowers on a prickly pear plant.

Prickly Pear blossoms. These beauties are the precursors to the fruit maturing until it's ripe and ready to eat. The fruit, aka tuna, comes in a variety of colors, red, yellow, orange, all with they own unique flavors.

Family Farmers are a key component in our food supply chain. Today, family farmers are main supplier of "niche" foods, like heirloom tomatoes, asian pears, figs, dates, and so much more. Delicacies, like zucchini flowers, figs, loquats, can only be found (at least fresh) at Farmers Markets...from family farmers!

We also have fresh baked goods, hummus, garlic sauce, and other wholesome, home cooked foods. Hand sanitizer and hand wash stations available. Shopping service for vulnerable, those 60+ years, with condition, and/or with toddlers. Call us for details, or ask at the Farmers Market. We’ll do all the shopping for you, and deliver to your vehicle, at no additional charge.
