Question: How do your minimums work?
Short Answer:
Your minimum depends on where you live. Find your color on the map in the comments, then match it to the chart to see your minimum. You can lower it by joining an existing route, adding neighbors, or opening a new recurring route. Minimums apply to service fees only (not groceries/products).
Minimums apply to all services combined with a laundry run (laundry + groceries, pet check-ins, errands, etc.). If it’s only one trip (example: just grocery delivery), the minimum is half, with a lowest minimum of $25.
Long Answer:
Minimums are our way of covering drive time and making sure everyone who works for us earns a livable wage, so we can keep providing the best service possible without burning out. We’re based in the Northland, but we didn’t want Gather & Scatter to only be something our immediate neighbors could access. Minimums let us offer that same personalized, “best friend” kind of service in more areas while still keeping things sustainable.
Your minimum depends on your area. Check the map for your color, then use the chart to find your minimum.
Want to lower it? Join an existing route or add onto a run with neighbors. We post current routes in the Events tab on our page so you can hop on whenever there’s one that fits. Or reach out and tell us what you’re looking for! We offer discounted minimums for being the first to open a new recurring route.
Lastly, if you’re in the Northland, you’re always welcome to drop off with just a $20 minimum.
One quick note: minimums apply to service fees only. Groceries and products purchased do not count toward the minimum.
Also: Minimums apply to all services combined with a laundry run (groceries, pet check-ins, errands, etc.). If it’s only one trip (example: just grocery delivery), the minimum is half, with a lowest minimum of $25.
