I'm sure you've heard grass fed meat is not tender and needs grain to be finished off for tenderness.This simply is not true. Healthy pastures that cattle are able to graze freely make happy cattle! This makes their meat tender! The Grassfed Cattle Company provides the ribeye, sirloin, and tenderloin for their customer...and the rest of the cuts of the cow are the hamburger...which makes INCREDIBLE HAMBURGER! Very rich and good fat content. You may special order a cow cut to your specs if you would like. But I have found this is the best way to cut the meat. The best way to cook grass fed meat is low and slow...like pork or chicken...to maintain the tenderness and flavor. Of course I have recipes that I would love to share with you! CLA is the common abbreviation for Conjugated Linoleic Acid. CLA occurs naturally in beef and milk. CLA has many health benefits. Various studies have shown that CLA:

The levels of CLA are much higher in grass fed cattle than in conventional cattle. Cattle eating green grass produce a lot CLA. Omega-3 is an essential fatty acid. Humans must have the right balance of omega-3 fatty acids and omega-6 fatty acids to be heatlhy. Unfortunately, the Standard American Diet (SAD) is totally unbalanced in favor of omega-6 fatty acids. Almost all Americans need far more omega-3 in their diet. The omega-6 excess has been associated with a greatly increased risk of cancer, heart disease, obesity, rapid aging, and many other health problems. Many doctors advise their patients to take fish oil capsules to try to help with the imbalance. GRAIN fed beef is totally unbalanced with a excess of omega-6 fatty acids. GRASS fed cattle have a much higher level of omega-3. Grass fed beef has the proper balance of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Factory cows are confined in a feedlot for months..never allowed to graze, fed unnatural foods(grain), and pumped full of hormones and antibiotics, which can cause your immunity to antibiotics.
