Hi everyone! It’s been a while since our last post. Over the past few months, we’ve been focusing on family life and, of course, the cows! Between working full-time, running the farm, attending weekly farmers markets, and managing everyday family life, things can get busy fast. But spring is here, we’re re-energized, and excited to serve our community again! For those that our new to our page we would like to introduce ourselves.
Meet the owners of Giese Beef Farm!
Giese Beef Farm is proudly owned and operated by Ben and Melissa Giese in Greenwich, NY.
Our journey began in 2017 with the purchase of two Angus and two Charolais heifer calves. From there, we’ve continued to grow our herd internally into what it is today.
From the beginning, our goal has been to build a herd backed by elite genetics. We achieve this by purchasing semen from reputable stud companies and performing all artificial insemination right here on our farm. This allows us to rapidly improve our herd genetics while ensuring the quality and consistency we strive for in our cattle.
We carefully select for:
⭐️ Marbling
⭐️ Ribeye area
⭐️ Carcass weight
⭐️ Docility
We proudly offer USDA-certified premium quality beef. All cuts are individually vacuum sealed and labeled to ensure maximum freshness. We also offer whole, half, quarter, eighth, and sixteenth beef shares for purchase.
