**"Gold sever"** isn’t a standard term, so it could mean 2 different things depending on what you meant 👇

# # # **1. If you meant "Sever Gold" = To cut/break gold apart**
**Sever** = to cut off or separate.
So "severing gold" means cutting, snapping, or breaking a piece of gold.
*Ex*: A jeweler might sever a gold chain to resize a bracelet, or cut gold wire for electronics.
Because gold is soft, it can be cut with tools, but it’s usually melted or sawn instead.

# # # **2. If you meant "Severe Gold" = High-purity or intense gold**
**Severe** = very serious/extreme. People sometimes mistype it.
"Severe gold" isn’t official, but some traders use "severe" casually to mean **high-karat, 22K or 24K pure gold** vs lower 14K/18K alloyed gold.

# # # **3. If you meant "Gold Severance"**
In mining/jobs, "severance" = payout when leaving. "Gold severance" would mean a bonus paid in gold or cash linked to gold price. Not common.
