It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Edward Talley. Farming was his passion and we can only imagine the produce fields he is experiencing in heaven. Please keep our family in your prayers during this time. 🙏🏼

Edward Lee Talley, 97, of Mechanicsville, VA passed away December 2, 2024 at his home. Edward loved working on the farm and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, the late Joseph Lee and Maude Brannan Talley his wife Dolly E. Talley.

We hope y’all are having a wonderful summer thus far! Just a quick update to make it known that unfortunately we will not be doing our produce stand this summer. We will sure miss sharing our locally grown produce with you all 💙

We appreciate your support so much and are grateful we get to share our Talley Farm Produce with you all. We will take this time to reset and spend time with our families and hope you’re able to do the same!!

Hey y’all!! Today feels like FALL 🍁 🍂

And the stand is back open tomorrow!!! We’ve got some fresh Hanover tomatoes, delicious watermelons and of course PUMPKINS 🎃

Swing on by and stock up before the summer crops are gone for good and grab some fresh produce to kick off this new season!

‼️Time for a reset and to refresh‼️

Letting everyone know that the stand will be closed for a couple weeks after today. We need time to reset some crops for the fall and have a few days of R&R with family at the beach!

This season has been so good to us and we thank y’all for the support and letting us be a part of your summer suppers and BBQs!

We will definitely let you know when we’re back and ready for y’all!!

For those of y’all that have been asking… it’s out and fresh for y’all. This could be it for the season so hurry on by!! Also picked fresh cantaloupes this morning 🍈 and still plenty of Hanover tomatoes! Come getcha some!!

We’ve heard from some customers that these seedless watermelons, named Tropical Sunshine, are even sweeter than our regular seedless melons! Come and getcha some before they are gone…. So refreshing chilled on these hot summer days!
