900 are these high-quality bales you see in the photos.

600 are still really nice small square bales, but the stems are a little bigger since they are 3rd cutting.

Only 1 1/2 left!!

🐷 We’ve got pigs again. Ready for the freezer at the end of February.

We raise our pigs to the Niman Ranch standards which means they get to express their natural behaviors, have plenty of space, and enjoy no animal byproducts in their feed. 🌾

1 locker appointment in Mitchel, SD or 3 appointments available in Canton, SD

We are asking $1 per lb live weight or $0.9 per lb live weight if we receive a half payment before December 25th 2025.

They usually weigh around 300 lbs so that’s $300 to us or $270 to us by pre-paying.

Processing cost is around $300 more or less due to the butcher depending on how much processing and cured meats you chose to get done 🥓

One of my favorite tasks on the farm is giving the pigs new straw because they throughly enjoy it and I find it so fascinating that their deep bedding decomposes beneath them creating heat for these cold days.

We have high quality small square alfalfa bales for sale again. They are very green yet as you can see from the pictures I took today. Each flake has lots of leaves with small stems. These bales came off of our organic alfalfa field this summer, but there are no weeds in these bales. If you are bringing a flat trailer we can load you with our grapple.

We are asking $9 per bale CASH ONLY PLEASE except for our repeat customers.
Lower qualities of alfalfa and some straw bales are available as well for $6-$8 per bale

We raise our hogs to the Niman Ranch standards, which means they have no animal byproducts in their feed, and they get to live inside and outside and express their normal pig instincts. 

Live weight should be approximately 280 lbs when they go to the locker.

This page is changing! With lots of thought we are finally ready to share everything we have been doing and create a page that actually shows all of our products and farming practices. We created a limited liability company that will unify all of our products, like our pasture raised eggs, natural pork, small square bales of alfalfa and straw, organic chicken scratch, organic grains, organic oilseeds, and cover crops, etc under one business name. And we will use this page to show our customers what’s really happening on our diverse organic farm throughout the year.
