Join us at the Etowah Lions Farmers Market on Wednesday, May 20. Local vendors feature fresh produce, seafood, baked goods, unique handcrafted items and colorful garden plants. Enjoy live music and a friendly community vibe. All Lions Club market proceeds donated to local community needs.

Holly Spring Farm is bringing just-picked asparagus, lettuce, arugula, baby kale, beets and a wide selection of tomato plant starts.

On the Misty Mountain Gardens & Apiary market tables you’ll find red romaine, spring onions, greens, rhubarb, chive flower vinegar, herbal tea, lavender pillow mist, cucumber and pepper plants, gourmet ramp butter, perennial plants and limited amounts of Sourwood honey.

Early tomorrow morning, Breaking Bread Sourdough will pull from their oven sourdough loaves: farmhouse white, farmhouse wheat, Jalapeño Cheddar and Smoked Gouda, chia seed multigrain and artisan white. Also English Muffins, naan flatbread and Caprese Focaccia. NEW: Blueberry Streusel Focaccia: Soft sourdough focaccia topped with blueberries and buttery cinnamon streusel.

Stacked on the Bull Creek Farm table will be fresh eggs from local free-range chickens. Medium and large dozens at the best prices around.

Hillbilly Shrimp Company will have pan-ready crab cakes, crabmeat pie and spicy crawfish pie, shrimp, lobster tails, flounder, triggerfish and swordfish.

Big thanks to everyone who showed up for the Etowah Lions Farmers Market 2026 opening day last Wednesday. It was wonderful seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Your support helps our local farmers and artisans thrive, and contributes to the Lions Club’s funding of local needs.

Tomorrow’s market will have lots of local goodness. A sampling:
Fresh asparagus;
Crab cakes, crab pies and crawfish pies;
Just-picked kale, collards and Swiss chard;
A variety of freshly baked sourdough breads;
Freshly laid eggs (at the lowest prices around)
Local Sourwood honey;
Ukrainian and European pastries.

And much, much more!

Opening day and rain is on the way!! But we are so thankful for the rain. We are open rain or shine and if the weather is bad we will be inside our clubhouse. How does fresh baked sourdough bread with ramp butter sound. Plenty of spring veggies, plants, and beautiful crafts just in time for Mother’s Day. See you at 3!

Mark your calendars for the Etowah Lions Farmers Market Holiday Fair. Saturday November 15 9-2. Our wonderful crafts people and artisans from the market will be on hand to sell their wares. Additionally we sill have many new artisans. Need to do holiday shopping? Come see us this coming Saturday. 447 Etowah School Road.

Last market of the season is tomorrow Wednesday 10/29 3-5PM and it looks like we will be setting up inside the clubhouse. So the main gate will be open and you can come and park in that parking lot and save some steps getting into the Etowah Lions Farmers Market.
We will have sourdough breads, veggies, honey, herbal teas and seafood including those fabulous Crab Cakes.
It will also be a chance for you to drop off used glasses, hearing aids and cell phones.
PLUS we are kicking off our plastics recycle program on November 1. So if you are saving bags for us please bring them.

Most importantly thank you all for your patronage this season and for supporting you local farmers and artisans who work so hard to bring their great products to market.

We are already planning for a fabulous year in 2026!!

The new Henderson County mobile library will be at the Etowah Lions Farmers Market Wednesday 9/24 from 3-5PM. It will be a great opportunity to check it out and maybe check out a book. If you do not have a library card they will be able to open one up for you.
In the veggie department there will be fresh greens including collards, Swiss chard, kale, mustard and turnip greens. There are still tomatoes so enjoy them before they are gone. Fresh mushrooms, micro greens garlic, basil and poblanos round out the offerings.
Sourdough bread and Ukrainian pastries and seafood including red fish for $10 per pound.
