Honea Path Farmers Market Grand Opening
Dedication of new open-air pavilion at Dogwood Park
HONEA PATH — The new open-air pavilion in Dogwood Park was officially dedicated on Jul 18 with the grand opening of the Honea Path Farmers Market. “Great event for the official opening of the town’s new open-air pavilion at Dogwood Park with the first event being the farmers market,” noted Mayor Jimmy Smith. “We hope that the park will be well used.”
Local residents are encouraged to visit the Farmers Market, which offers fresh local produce, baked goods, honey, plants, meats, handmade crafts, and more-all while supporting local farmers, growers, and artisans. The market will be open on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. through October. New vendors are always welcome. The Farmers Market Vendor registration form is located on the town website honeapathsc.com.
“A great turnout for Dogwood Park Pavilion ribbon cutting,” concluded Town Council member Sheila Caldwell. “Always great to welcome something new in Honea Path.”
