True sovereignty begins with what’s on our tables, with the foods that once sustained our ancestors and continue to feed our ceremonies and our strength, with a modern day touch.
Reintroducing Native foods into Native communities isn’t just about tradition it’s about survival, confidence, and service. Our salmon, deer, elk, acorns, berries, mushrooms, roots and medicines hold the knowledge of balance and respect. They remind us who we are and where we come from.
When we feed our own people first, we are not turning away from the world, we are standing up for what’s ours. We are restoring health, pride, and unity in our homes and communities that need it most. Every seed planted, every fish smoked, every meal shared is an act of sovereignty.
We are more than just seafood we represent California Native food sovereignty, the right to define our food systems, to harvest from our lands and waters, and to nourish our communities with strength, dignity, and identity.
We will continue to serve, protect, and provide for our people because feeding the people is the highest form of love and leadership. Feed the people.
Elk stew, deer gravy & mashed potatoes, elk spaghetti for the littles, and acorn soup to feed our Cachil relatives ❤️🔥🌾🦌🍂
