Cooking classes (adults and kids), natural health classes, grocery store tours, and homemade featured items "Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you..." From All I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten by Robert Fulghum. It all started when my son was born. I took one look at baby food and thought.....yuk! I started making his baby food. The one time I tried to give him organic baby food in a

jar, he spit it out. When we received the diagnosis of two Autism Spectrum Disorders (Asperger's and ADHD) I knew that diet would play a huge part in the therapeutic process. We started our journey with the gluten free/casein free diet and eventually moved to the Paleo way of eating. It has made a tremendous difference in his life and ours. (Man, did I find some delicious alternatives! Homemade coconut butter can become an addiction.) I'm a mom who decided to read, study and find alternatives to better health. Oh yeah and to eat those warm cookies and "milk" along the way.

Do something today……give yourself credit. Even if getting out of bed, brushing your teeth…..smile at yourself in the mirror…..take it 30 seconds at a time if you need to. You are a light… i’m walking right beside you… If I’m saying this, it reflects right back for me… I need to hear it as well….
