Finished(processed) the last 2 ultra Mega chickens Yesterday. I wanted to see how big these birds could after 3 months. Monsters that didn't fit in my kill cone. Had to make a new one and I had to push them into it. Still they didn't crow at the sun and my neighbors didn't hear them over other sounds in the neighborhood.

Last small batch is ready for anyone interested. These are very large birds this time.

Last small batch of chickens are growing bigger. Should be 2nd week in Sept for slaughter date.

I have permission to raise a few more birds at Miabella's farm. I will get a 100 birds and have inventory for more customers.

Still looking for more pasture land to increase production. Does anyone have a few acres of grass field they wouldn't mind free bug removal and free nitrogen for the grass? Free chicken to anyone that does!!!

Visited Coyote Creek Mill near Austin,TX and picked up feed for the next batch of chickens. Chicks arrived friday and are doing well in the brooder. This batch will grow out 7 weeks to increase the size at slaughter. Learned about a farm near Austin that raises Rhode Island Red birds for meat and charges $25 per bird 5 Lbs finished weight.

Sold Out of chicken. Thanks to everyone that bought this batch of chicken. Next round will be available 1st weekend in September.

All the chickens were processed Friday with the help of the Featherman feather plucker. I have a few chickens left for sale if anyone is interested.

Next Batch of birds will arrive Friday 7-23-10. They will be ready for pickup 9-3-10. Same hatchery and all the birds will be male to increase the size of the chicken. I will be going to Coyote Creek Farm Mill to pickup the feed for these birds. Preorder yours today before they are gone. Current batch of chicken started their 5th bag of feed today. 7+ inches of rain in 3 days did not bother the birds and the temps are lower for their enjoyment.
