Happy Thursday! We will be at Festhalle Farmers Market this morning as well as Saturday morning. I will have our Fall Trios, Pimiento Pumpkins and our Honey and Nut Pumpkins (Large) and a few of our smaller Jalapeno Jelly, today. What was supposed to be 6 oz ended up being 9 oz!!!! So lots of yummy cheese for your game day, family gathering, bible study.. Any event! I also have 3 caramel apples for today and Saturday if they last! We will do another batch for Sunday The Market at MidCity
Star Market and S & S Foods are stocked.. Remember that S&S Cleveland, our cheese is in the Deli!!! Maven’s & Makers, Welcome Homestead and McCray's Old Field Farm General Store have restocked recently and they all have different flavors! Welcome Homestead has our Pumpkin Shaped Cheese Ball flavors: Pimiento, Honey & Nut, and Jalapeno Jelly!! So make sure to go visit!
We are working on our Caramel packaging, but hope to have those and the apples Huntsville Food & Farm Hub this week!!

It’s finally feeling like fall, so how about a new fall flav drop (before the chaos of holiday markets consume me 🤪)

Introducing Pumpkin Brûlée - a flavor inspired and created by our partnership with Rareform!

Pumpkin spiced shells, dipped in melted Pumpkin Crème Brûlée pieces, filled with our traditional pumpkin pie buttercream that got a makeover with the help of additional crème pieces added right into the mix!

We’re very excited to share that we’ll be a vendor at the MidCity holiday market with our Hub-Grown dried flowers!

You’ll be able to purchase Thanksgiving and Christmas arrangements, ornaments, wreaths and more all made from flowers grown by our Hub producers and naturally dried in Callie’s studio.

Several of our Hub producers will also be there alongside 170 other vendors. We can’t wait to see you there!

The egg restock you’ve all been waiting for!!!

The big headline is that we have EGGS fully restocked in the Hub! Plus we’ve got so many delicious new items for you. I’ve also pulled together some of my favorites for Halloween including the caramel apples from Humble Heart (SO good) and the sprinkle cookie sandwiches from Callaway Bakehouse.

We’ve got a new microgreen mix from shortcreekhomestead, who will be popping up with us this Tuesday at our Spooky Market. Broccoli greens from 4G Farms, along with their really beautiful Halloween pepper mix. Some new vinegars from Ironspring Orchard & Farm, which are sure to be a delight.

We've also got some really darling goat cheese pumpkins from Humble Heart. That would be perfect if you are hosting for Halloween. I think these would look so cute on a charcuterie board.

We have some dried floral pumpkins that I have made from Hub grown Flowers, and dried florals as well from Gillian and LeAnn | Huntsville Flower Farm that are perfect for the season.

The People's Patch-Madison County Community Farm, located at 3701 Meridian Street in Huntsville, Alabama, is a free U-pick farm that provides fresh produce to Madison County residents from dawn to dusk. Visitors can bring their own bags and harvesting tools and pick enough produce for themselves and/or family members.

Wednesday is volunteer day from 8:00-11:00 AM. This week's assignment: Pepper plant pruning and potting.

Open Monday-Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The other fields are always open.

Please be considerate and pick only as recommended DAILY.

LOVE FIELD: Burgundy okra, collard and turnip greens, cucumbers (limit 5), crowder peas, and bell and banana peppers

BIG FIELD: Bell peppers, white scallop (pattypan) and zucchini squash, mustard greens, and burgundy okra

FIELD 2: Green okra

FIELD 3: Eggplant (limit 5); zucchini squash (limit 3); and cayenne, bell, and jalapeño peppers

Wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Also, bring gloves, water & sun protection.

Join us tomorrow Wednesday, October 21 from 3PM to 9PM at Straight To Ale Brewing Brews to Benefit. This event will benefit Enable Madison County. For the next few weeks, we are partnering with Enable to raise funds for their community garden and you can donate to the Enable Garden Fundraiser with your Hub order. Enable Madison County’s Garden is dedicated to providing fresh, wholesome vegetables to individuals and families facing food insecurity or limited access to healthy produce during the growing season.
