Florida midsummer harvest 🌿☀️

Fresh cowpeas for dinner tonight.

Elderberries for syrup (or the dehydrator if I run out of time).

Peppers destined for hot sauce.

Okra headed into *Naked in the Garden* soap.

And jelly melons...

I've never made a jelly melon soap before. What do you think, should it be August's Soap of the Month? 🍈✨

The garden feeds both the kitchen and the apothecary in all season. Though some are rougher than others 😅.

I had a feeling this batch was going to be a good one...

The swirls didn't disappoint.

Naughty Goat is made with fresh goat milk from a local farm, honey from our own hives, and a blend of nourishing oils with activated charcoal.

No fragrance.

Just thoughtful ingredients and a beautiful bar. 🖤🌿

Butterfly pea flowers have become one of my favorite herbs to grow each summer.

The color still feels a little bit magical with endless possibilities.

They're not part of a Vital Acre formulation...yet.

But every season, there are a few plants that quietly work their way into my future plans.

This is definitely one of them.
