Every Sunday throughout September, Vouchers for Veterans provides Maine and New Hampshire veterans and active-duty service members with $20 in market vouchers to spend with food vendors.

Those vouchers become fresh produce, locally raised meats, baked goods, prepared foods, and more, but they also represent gratitude, connection, and a heartfelt thank-you to those who have served.

We are incredibly grateful to Vouchers for Veterans for returning to our market year after year and making this meaningful program possible. It is an honor to welcome their team, our veterans, and active-duty service members into the heart of our market community. 💚

One of the things we love most about community partnerships is how far their impact can reach. 💚

We are deeply honored to welcome Vouchers for Veterans back to Kittery Community Market every Sunday throughout September.

Each Sunday, Maine and New Hampshire veterans and active-duty service members can visit the red Vouchers for Veterans tent to receive $20 in market vouchers to spend with our participating food vendors.

Vouchers can be used for fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, baked goods, prepared foods, and other locally produced food. It is a meaningful way to thank those who have served while also supporting the farms and small businesses that feed our community.

💚 Happy Birthday, Dot! 💚

Today we’re celebrating someone who has been part of the heart of Kittery Community Market from the very beginning.

Dot was one of the people who helped get this market started 14 years ago, and in the years since, she has worn just about every hat there is to wear. Market manager. Vendor. Board member. Volunteer. Advocate. Problem solver. Community connector. And, for so many people who visit us on Sundays, the warm and familiar face greeting them at the Info Booth.

Dot has given her heart and soul to this market, always looking out for our vendors, welcoming shoppers, answering questions, building relationships, and helping create the kind of place where people genuinely feel connected.

A farmers market is so much more than tents and tables. It’s the people who show up, care deeply, and keep investing their time and heart into something they believe matters. Dot has been doing exactly that for so many years.

We are incredibly lucky to have her as our current Market Manager and even luckier to call her part of the KCM family.
