Friday soul food run!

The fried pork chops were seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The candied yams were slightly sweet and the blackened peas were tender. If Iā€™m in the area, Iā€™d definitely come back for friend fish and shrimp.

My 20 ounce ribeye steak at Murphy's Steakhouse didnā€™t suck! Known for there generous portions, I took home half my steak and potato (very unusual). This old general store turned restaurant is a historians dream! Bonus, the friendly waitstaff adds to authenticity of a small town restaurant.

Iā€™ll be back for fried catfish and dessert soon!
