Yesterday we learned some new things: we made 56 sausages and also water glassed eggs for the first time. Together we spent time cleaning the house and taking care of all the farm critters then spent time winding down by playing cards before our nightly wine and devotionals.

This last week has been amazing here on the farm. We worked on the farm, enjoyed all the babies (bunnies, ducks, piglets), celebrated our anniversary, got the girls back from FL, I studied a lot, and we are finishing it all up with a Harry Potter themed family day.

Got the salt cure off the bacon today and throwing it on the cold smoke for the next few hours... long process!!
