🎆 LAPEER FIREWORKS DONATIONS — FINAL WEEKEND! 🎆

If you love attending the Lapeer Fireworks every year, now is the time to help keep this wonderful tradition alive.

Our donation jars will be picked up Tuesday morning, and we would love to help collect a few more donations before then.

Many people don't realize that the Lapeer Fireworks are funded entirely by local businesses and community members. There is no large organization behind them—just people who care about our community coming together to make something special happen for families throughout Lapeer.

Every year, thousands of people gather with their children, grandchildren, friends, and neighbors to enjoy an evening under the stars. Those memories are only possible because of the generosity of our community.

When I find a product that works so well I start recommending it to friends, family, and clients, I usually end up bringing it into the stores.

That is exactly what happened with Margarite Zinc Cream.

I recently tried this product myself and was impressed with how quickly it worked. As someone who has spent decades helping people navigate their health and wellness journeys, I am always looking for products that are simple, effective, and deliver results.

⚠️ It Happened Again Today ⚠️

A client walked into our Lake Orion store today with a liquid vitamin she had purchased online.

She was very honest and told us, "I normally buy my supplements from you, but this time I ordered it on Amazon."

The reason she brought it in? It tasted different and something didn't seem right.

When we compared the bottle she purchased online to the same product we carry in our store, the differences were concerning.

The label on the bottle she purchased was blurry. The logo was difficult to read. Several ingredients that should have been listed on the label were missing. Side-by-side, it was clear that the product she received was not the same as the product on our shelf.

As a Holistic Health Practitioner, moments like this break my heart because when people purchase a supplement, they are trusting that what is inside the bottle matches what is on the label.

Your health is too important to take chances with.

Of course, we love when people support local brick-and-mortar stores, but more importantly, we want you and your family to be safe.

If you choose to purchase supplements online, here are a few ways to help protect yourself:

✔️ Purchase directly from the manufacturer's website whenever possible.

✔️ Buy from trusted retailers that have established relationships with the brands they sell.

✔️ If purchasing through Amazon, verify that the product is being sold directly by the manufacturer or the brand's official Amazon store.

✔️ Check labels carefully. Look for blurry printing, missing information, damaged seals, or anything that seems unusual.

✔️ If a product looks different, smells different, tastes different, or simply doesn't seem right, trust your instincts.

And please know this...

If you ever purchase a supplement online and have questions about it, bring it into any of our stores. We are happy to look at it with you and compare it to products we carry. We would much rather spend a few minutes helping you verify a product than see someone waste money or put their health at risk.
