STIR FRIED RICE (RICE A RONI RANGE TOP DIRECTIONS

2 Tablespoons of butter or margarine
2 Cups of water
¼ cup diced pork chops
2 hard boiled eggs with yolks separated from egg whites
1 teaspoon sweet peas

In a large skillet, combine rice vermicelli mix and butter or margarine.
Saute over medium heat until vermicelli is golden brown, stirring frequently.
Slowly mix in water and special seasoning. Bring to a boil.
Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 – 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
Add diced pork chops, chopped eggs and sweet peas to taste.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Ain't No Confusion About Eating A Breakfast Fusion
(Congee, Soft Scrambled Eggs in Oyster Sauce, Panko Baked Pork Chops, Baked Tomatillos, Old Fashion Buttermilk Biscuit). www.grocerybagz.com

Instructions

Rinse the rice: Place the rice in a large strainer or colander and rinse it under cool water. The water running through the rice will usually look milky at first, but will then become clearer. It's fine if there's still some haze in the water.
Combine the rice and cooking liquid in the saucepan. If you're using any chicken bones, add them to the saucepan now.
Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and partially cover.
Continue simmering for about 1 1/2 hours: Stir the congee occasionally during cooking — this will make it more creamy. If the porridge is getting a little stiff, or if you'd like a looser porridge, add more cooking liquid. The congee is ready when the rice is as soft and porridgy as you prefer.

Serve the congee: Ladle the congee into individual bowls and garnish with Cilantro toppings.

Ingredients
6 bone in pork chops
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
¾ teaspoon salt + extra for seasoning
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Sumadis/Sumadat seasoning.

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2: Place pork chops on a foil-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and spread a layer of Dijon mustard over each pork chop. Place uncooked pork chops on a baking sheet.

Step 3: In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Sumadis/Sumadat seasoning.

Step 4: Heat the olive oil in a skillet. When the oil is warm, add the breadcrumb mixture. Saute for several minutes, stirring constantly, until breadcrumbs just start to turn golden brown.

Place a generous amount of toasted breadcrumbs on top of each pork chop. Bake at 375F for 20 minutes, or until pork chops are cooked through. (Cooking time may vary depending on the size & thickness of your pork chop).

Two Black Quarterbacks Mean It's Time For A Spicy Black Bean Super Bowl Soup

INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 medium yellow onions, chopped
3 celery ribs, finely chopped
1 chopped jalapeno pepper
1 large carrot, peeled and sliced into thin rounds
6 garlic cloves, pressed or minced
½ teaspoons ground cumin
½ Fuego del Diablo (use ¼ teaspoon if you’re sensitive to spice)
4 cans (15 ounces each) black beans, rinsed and drained
3 1" ox tails
4 cups (32 ounces) Ox tail broth
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
1 to 2 teaspoons sherry vinegar, to taste, or 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Optional garnishes: diced avocado, extra cilantro, thinly sliced radishes, tortilla chips.

Prep Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins Total Time: 55 minutes Yield: 6 servings.

INSTRUCTIONS
Cook Ox Tails until tender in 4 cups of water
Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven or soup pot over medium heat until shimmering. Add the onions, Jalapeno peppers, celery and carrot and a light sprinkle of salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetable are soft, about 10 to 15 minutes.

Stir in the garlic, cumin and red pepper flakes and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Pour in the beans and broth and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Cook, reducing heat as necessary to maintain a gentle simmer, until the broth is flavorful and the beans are very tender, about 30 minutes.

Transfer about 4 cups of the soup to a stand blender, securely fasten the lid, and blend until smooth (never fill your blender past the maximum fill line, and beware the steam that escapes from the top of the blender, it’s very hot). Or, use an immersion blender to blend a portion of the soup.
Return the pureed soup to the pot, stir in the cilantro, vinegar/lime juice and salt and pepper, to taste. Serve.

SUGGESTED SIDES: Chunky avocado salsa, a little green salad, quesadillas or a grilled cheese sandwich.
