This is great news! Ready to welcome Rambling Roots to Neskowin Farmers Market and LCSundayMarket. Can't wait for spring, and new food from that great rich farmland.
Big farm news: Welcome Rambling Roots Farm!
It's been a long minute, and a lot has changed in the last couple of years. I've moved to north Tillamook County, where I'm happily pursuing a career in construction and managing the Manzanita Farmers Market. I bought a fixer upper house, found out I like gardening, and have generally made a new life for myself. I miss the farm and all of you, but it's been good to tread new ground and settle into a new chapter.
Corvus Landing sat farmerless after I left in 2023, but now it has new stewards! I met Katy and Jordan last summer, and after much discussion and conversation they moved onto the farm in December. They come to the Neskowin community with many years of farming experience and lots of enthusiasm, and I can't wait to see the beauty they create. It's deeply meaningful to me to see such dedicated, mindful people pick up where I left off and create something new on the land I loved and tended for so long. I hope you will support them as they grow their farm this summer!
What they're saying:
"We are Katy and Jordan โ vegetable, fruit, and flower farmers with many seasons of growing on the Pacific Coast under our belts. We were last farming in coastal Mendocino county, California, and are happy to be embarking on our next farming chapter here on the beautiful Oregon coast.
Our goal for the coming season is to provide a diversity of high-quality, nutrient-dense, naturally grown produce and vibrant flowers to fill your table and bellies with joy. Many of our offerings will be familiar to you, as weโll grow many of the same crops and varieties that you were accustomed to seeing from Corvus Landing - salad mix, arugula, spinach, broccolini, tomatoes, cucumbers, roots, potatoes, beans, squashโฆ to name but a few. Stay tuned for what is coming into season!"
