We’ve still got a couple more weeks of fresh Burns’ Sweet Corn coming your way. Summer may be winding down, but there’s still plenty of sweetness left!

Get it while you can, because corn season never lasts long enough!

A little weather update from Burns’ Sweet Corn 🌽🌧️

With rainy weather expected over the next few days, our corn supply may be a little more limited than usual. We’ll do our best to keep the stand stocked, but there may be times when the weather makes it difficult for us to get into the field to pick.

If you’re making a special trip, feel free to call us at 315-823-2288 before heading over to check availability.

What’s your favorite way to grill sweet corn?

Here are 3 easy methods:

🔥 Directly on the Grill: Remove the husks and silk and grill for about 10 minutes, turning frequently. This gives the corn a delicious smoky, slightly charred flavor.
🌽 In the Husk: Remove the silk, pull the husks back over the corn, soak in cold water for 20 minutes, then grill for 20-25mins, turning often. This helps steam the corn and keeps it tender and juicy.
🧈 Wrapped in Foil: Shuck the corn, add a little butter or oil, season with salt pepper, wrap tightly in foil, and grill for 15–20 minutes, turning occasionally. Easy, juicy, and very little mess!

However you grill it, you can’t beat fresh sweet corn on a summer night! 🌽🔥

We grilled it last night in the husks without peeling them back! Delicious!
