Hello Ferndale!

A lot of excitement and energy this pre-Christmas week with the kids home from school and preparations ongoing for the upcoming holidays- for the Market that means fully stocked produce, Market pecans, Market pecan toffee, baked goods with Gimmie Some Sugar holiday cookie boxes and more. We have restocked Rowe Casa Organics with the ever popular magnesium cream plus other new items for last minute gifts or stocking stuffers.

We have closed ordering for the Christmas hams and rib roasts but we are still taking orders this week for Carly’s Christmas Yule log cakes. We will have holiday desserts next week with chocolate pecan pie, Mississippi mud pie, and Million Dollar pie.

We are open regular hours this week with breakfast starting 6am weekdays, and 7am Saturdays, and closing hours 6pm daily except Sunday. Sunday hours are 11am-4pm. Lunch hours are 11am-1:30pm.

Next week our holiday hours are:

Tuesday December 23rd breakfast starting at 7am and closing 6pm.

Wednesday December 24th breakfast starting 7am and closing early 3pm.

Closed Christmas and December 26th

Saturday December 27th breakfast 7am and closing 6pm.

Sunday December 28th 11am-4pm.

Dinners this week include beef stroganoff and shrimp Mac and cheese. The beef stroganoff is tender strips of beef in a soured cream and mushroom sauce over buttered egg noodles. The shrimp Mac and cheese is creamy Gouda Mac and cheese topped with New Orleans style bbq shrimp. Both will be available after 3pm today.

Happy Wednesday Ferndale!

We had a great time at the Ferndale Christmas parade and were super excited to meet so many new visitors to the store! The Ferndale Market Santa float was loads of fun and despite a significant increase in candy to throw this year we still needed more! A big congratulations to the JT Robinson football team for winning the state championships!

We have restocked the Market with fresh fruits, vegetables, and new meats with Wahrmund farms beef and The Firelight Farms certified naturally grown turnips and canned pickled carrots (Friday). Sourdough breads and pastries arrive today, with Old Mill bread in stock tomorrow.

We have made Market pecan toffee and soon will have cookie boxes if you need a gift for family or friends this holiday season.

We are taking pre-orders for Christmas boneless ribeye roasts and bourbon glazed smoked hams. Carly will be making decorated Christmas Yule logs, and we plan to have a variety of holiday pies. Swing by the store or call 501-559-1190 for your order.

We have our full lunch menu this week 11am-1:30pm and take home dinners include Loaded potato soup and chicken tortellini alla pana. The loaded potato soup contains potatoes, bacon, cheese, and green onions. The chicken tortellini alla pana is grilled chicken, cheese tortellini, and a creamy marinara pink sauce. Both will be available after 3pm.

Hello Ferndale!

It’s beginning to look and feel a lot like Christmas! We were busy last week decorating the Market and we are super excited about the Annual Ferndale Christmas parade this Saturday December 6th at 1pm. Activities and craft fair starts earlier and more details can be found Ferndale Farmers Market page. We plan to have our float in the parade again this year with our gigantic Santa- hoping William will drive the old Farmall tractor! Parking may be challenging and part of Kanis from Burlingame to the 4 way will be closed during the parade.

We will be cheering on the JT Robinson football team who will be playing at noon Saturday in the State Championships! We plan to live stream the game so we can watch Fisher, Jake and Addy play and cheer!

We have fully restocked produce and bringing in new items with pomegranates, Star Ruby grapefruit, and more citrus to come.

Full lunch menu today 11am-1:30pm with hot cheddar roast beef sandwich as the special starting tomorrow.

Take home dinners this week will be Italian sausage soup with tortellini and cream and shrimp and polenta. The shrimp and polenta is pan seared shrimp over griddled polenta cake with a garlic butter sauce. Both will be available after 3pm today.
