ππΏβ¨ 2027 GOALS | THE HEALING WORLD OF APITHERAPY β¨πΏπ
Sometimes you donβt realize where your journey is taking you until you look back and see how beautifully everything has connected. π
From planting medicinal herbs and wildflowers, to tending my honeybees, harvesting honey, collecting pollen and propolis, creating herbal remedies, and learning more about the incredible relationship between nature and wellnessβ¦ everything Iβve been doing here at Rumble Hill has been leading me in one very special direction.
APITHERAPY. ππ―π»
And I am absolutely fascinated!
Lately, Iβve been diving deeper into the world of apitherapy, especially studying bee venom therapy, its history, emerging research, and the extraordinary compounds found within bee venom.
But apitherapy is about so much more than venom.
π Bee Venom contains fascinating bioactive compounds, including melittin and apamin, that researchers are studying for their potential therapeutic properties.
π― Raw Honey has been treasured for centuries for its antimicrobial properties, nourishment, and traditional medicinal uses.
πΌ Bee Pollen is packed with naturally occurring proteins, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
πΏ Propolis is the beesβ own protective resin, rich in plant compounds being studied for their antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activity.
π Bee Pheromones are part of an incredibly sophisticated communication system that allows thousands of bees to work together as one living colony.
πΆ And then thereβs the vibrationβ¦
That beautiful, steady HUM of thousands of honeybees. The movement of their wings. The rhythm of an entire colony working in harmony.
There is something almost meditative about sitting near a thriving beehive, listening to that gentle buzzing and feeling connected to the natural world.
And that brings me to one of my biggest dreams for 2027β¦
π‘π APITHERAPY BEE HUTS & BEE BEDS AT RUMBLE HILL!
Iβm beginning to put more detailed plans together to build several apitherapy bee beds right here on our land.
Imagine thisβ¦
π» A little wooden bee hut nestled among the wildflowers.
π― Honeybees safely working in enclosed hives beneath specially designed resting beds.
πΏ The earthy aromas of beeswax, honey, propolis, and the surrounding botanicals.
π The soft, continuous hum of thousands of bees beneath you.
βοΈ Warm sunshine filtering through the windows as you close your eyes, slow your breathing, and simply EXIST in nature.
Some apitherapy traditions explore hive air, bee-generated vibrations, and the sensory experience of spending time close to a colony. Their specific medical benefits are still being researched, but the peaceful experience itself is something I find incredibly beautiful.
A little sanctuary where the bees continue doing what they do best, and we take a moment to appreciate their extraordinary world. π
Of course, Iβm approaching this with plenty of research, education, and careful safety planning, particularly because bee venom and hive-related exposures can cause serious allergic reactions.
What began as a love for honeybees has grown into something so much bigger.
Itβs about honoring the hive, understanding the remarkable gifts of nature, and continuing to learn how ancient traditions and modern science might come together.
2027 is going to be a year of growth, education, and bringing some very special dreams to life at Rumble Hill. ππΏ
And I cannot wait to share this journey with all of you!
