If you’re in the Carolina’s, your garden is in full swing and you might be spending all of your available time managing that. I thought I might have a heat stroke pulling weeds at 8AM. 🥵
Summer veggies still have plenty of growing season left. BUT its time to start thinking about the fall garden
Start Indoors Soon (Late June–July)
• Broccoli
• Cauliflower
• Cabbage
• Brussels sprouts
These need a head start because they take a long time to mature.
Direct Sow in July–August
• Carrots
• Beets
• Turnips
• Rutabagas
• Kale
• Collards
• Mustard greens
• Lettuce
• Spinach (later, when temperatures cool)
• Radishes
That would set you up for a fall harvest extending well into November and possibly December. 🥬🥕🥦
