It’s finally time! Our hard neck garlic is ready for sale! We have three sizes available.

Size small ($1), medium ($2), and large ($3) each. We have each size in both the purple striped and the porcelain variety. We are also selling the mediums by the pound for $14 per pound.

In my last post, I mentioned how garlic can “boost brain health.” As a school social worker, I love learning how we can improve our mood with our food!

Garlic is a Mood & Brain Booster:
Garlic contains compounds that may support brain health, including:

Vitamin B6 (for neurotransmitter production).
Selenium (an antioxidant that protects brain cells).
Allicin (which may help reduce anxiety and improve mood).

Our pesticide free garlic will be harvested soon!

Garlic is packed with nutrients, such as vitamin C, vitamin B6, manganese, selenium, and fiber. It can boost your immune system, support heart health, bone health, brain health, may reduce risk of certain cancers, help detoxify the body from heavy metals, act like a natural antioxidant, and promotes healthy skin and hair. And - it tastes GOOD!

My new favorite way is roasting them in oil and spreading it on a nice sour dough bread 🤤

Thank you for everyone who tried out our scapes and enjoyed them. We will have more next year and will be harvesting our garlic this fall, so stay tuned!

FREE bags of garlic scapes! Scapes can add a mild fresh garlic taste to any dish. I think they’re great in salads and sauces. Great to add to butter. Treat them like a cross between a scallion and asparagus. You can use them in almost any dish where you want a hint of garlic, or cook them whole as a roasted or grilled vegetable side.

Scapes grow on the garlic plant and are removed before the garlic is harvested. These scapes were handpicked and pesticide free.
