🍅Farmer Spotlight🍅 This is Farmer Mark – owner and farmer at Mark's Produce Market. Mark is the most "seasoned" of our farmers because he’s been farming in the Varina and surrounding areas for well over 40 years! When he’s not at the DPFM you can find Mark at his farm stand, located just on the edge of Hanover, where he sells produce, bedding plants, flowers, canned goods and more.

Mark brings all the best seasonal vegetables to the DPFM - tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, green beans, zucchini, onions, butter beans, etc. and our favorite - sweet corn. He also grows beautiful hanging flowers, great big mums AND all of the pumpkins for our Fall Fest’s pumpkin patch.

As a side note, Mark is incredibly kind, his sense of humor is off the charts (he is always cracking jokes) and we love that he spends his Saturdays with us.

Stop by and say hi to Mark this Saturday – pick up an armload of vegetables and a hanging basket or two and get to know our favorite seasoned Varina farmer.
