We had a pretty eventful day today! We picked up our bees and are going to try beekeeping for the first time! I only got stung one time! I say, success! We also got seriously lucky and the fires that were close, headed in a different direction and missed our property. We had the fire planes flying overhead all day, visits from figherfighters and endless phone calls and texts! It was a busy day! Thanks to all the people that reached out to check on us and offer help if needed!! We are greatful to be in our own beds tonight!

Question for ya....In our last hatch of call ducks, we had some different issues we've corrected. We had straddle leg and club foot. They now all seem healthy and active. All eating and drinking normally and independently. The one by the red dot is quite a bit smaller than the others. Last time I had that, it passed, failure to thrive. Are there any suggestions on how to avoid that? Or is it just survival of the fittest?
