In honor of my upcoming 17th year of sobriety, I made myself a Seventeen Magazine cover. 🥹🍍✨

I’m not at 17 years yet (my sobriety date is March 6th), but I wanted to celebrate what this journey has already given me. Swipe through for a few pages of my little “magazine.” I hope you love it. 💕

There was a time when I felt like the scum of the earth. I carried so much shame, so many uncomfortable feelings, and truly didn’t know how I was ever going to feel good about myself or my life.

And today? I genuinely feel like my life is worthy of a magazine cover 💁🏽‍♀️🤣. I feel like my story is worth telling. I feel like what I’ve walked through can help other people.

That feeling alone is a life beyond my wildest dreams.

I got sober at 20 thinking my life was over, and somehow, one day at a time, I built a life I’m incredibly proud to call mine.

Maybe the greatest transformation wasn’t creating a life worth celebrating.

It was finally believing that I am worth celebrating. 🥹💕🍍

Produce Queen lives at the intersection of produce and wellness.

Produce is where it started..and those roots go back long before me. I’m the fourth generation in my family to work in the produce industry, but Produce Queen is my opportunity to honor what I inherited while growing something new from it.

What began with physical products designed to help people feel better has expanded into a much bigger understanding of nourishment. Nutrition, fitness, recovery, energy work, emotional healing, spirituality, rest and our relationship with ourselves are all connected.

I’ve realized that the produce world and the wellness world are often having separate conversations about the same thing: helping people feel better. The produce world talks about what we grow, while the wellness world talks about how we live. Produce Queen exists to bridge the two.

That’s where “from the roots up” comes in.

“From the roots up” is the heart of Produce Queen nurturing the whole person through the food we eat, the way we move, the energy we carry and the care we give ourselves. Because our roots aren’t only what grows beneath the soil. They’re our habits, beliefs, emotional health, physical health, energy, relationships with ourselves and the choices we make every day.

Produce Queen is not just about fruit.
It’s not just about fitness.
It’s not just about nutrition.
And it’s not just about wellness.

It’s about nourishment in every sense of the word.

The mission of Produce Queen is to bridge the worlds of produce and wellness and help people feel better physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Produce is my roots.
Nourishment is my love language.
Feeling better is the mission.

From the roots up. 👸🏽💕🦋

It’s fun. It’s colorful. It’s a little ridiculous. It’s inner child AND inner teenager coded. It’s basically W***y Wonka… but make it fruits and vegetables. 😂🍉

Healthy food can be exciting. Nourishment can feel playful. Taking care of yourself can look like giant watermelons, ridiculous amounts of fruit, colorful produce, dried pineapple in your purse, and creating an entire little Queendom where fruits and veggies are the main characters.

The little girl in me gets to play, create, be colorful, be weird, and make things magical.

And the woman I am today gets to build a life and a brand that somehow holds versions of me at once.

A little wellness.
A little performance art.
A little healing.
A lot of fruit.
And just enough silliness to keep things interesting. 👑🍉✨

Welcome to the Queendom.

Where we take nourishment seriously… but ourselves? Not so much. 😂🍓🦋💁🏽‍♀️

WELCOME TO THE QUEENDOM 👑🍍

I grew up in a lot of male-dominated spaces, hearing phrases like “keys to the kingdom” my entire life.

And somewhere along the way, I realized I wanted to build something different.

Not a kingdom. A Queendom.

A world rooted in nourishment, health, safety, joy, love, healing and connection.

And looking back, I think I’ve been building it for a lot longer than I realized.

It started with fruit. 🍍

Produce Queen became this beautiful little doorway into a much bigger idea: that taking care of ourselves can begin with something as simple as choosing to nourish our bodies.

But nourishment was never only about food to me.

It’s how we move our bodies.
How we speak to ourselves.
The boundaries we set.
The energy we protect.
The relationships we choose.
The younger versions of ourselves we learn to advocate for.
The parts of ourselves we finally allow to heal.

That’s why my work has continued to expand beyond fruit into nutrition, fitness, energy work, inner child healing, recovery, imposter syndrome work and everything I’ve learned through my own healing.

They may look like completely different things.

But to me, they’re different doors into the same Queendom.

Because every time we choose something that truly nourishes us, we come a little closer to the life we actually want to be living.

And maybe the Queendom isn’t somewhere we eventually arrive.

Maybe it’s something we build, choice by choice.

A life where we feel nourished enough, safe enough, healthy enough and free enough to actually enjoy being alive.

That’s what I’m building with Produce Queen.

And there’s room for all of us here. 👑

Welcome to the Queendom.

I’ve done this more times than I can count.

I did it with 🍷 and 💊. One day, I realized I couldn’t keep living the way I was living. I decided: I’m done. I called someone I knew who was sober, asked him what I needed to do, and did it.

I did it with ci******es.
I’ve done it with moving.
Friendships. Relationships. Family dynamics. Survival behaviors. Old versions of myself that once protected me but eventually kept me stuck.

There have been so many moments where something inside of me just said:

“That’s enough. We’re not doing this anymore.”

You don’t need January 1st.
You don’t need a Monday.
You don’t need another sign.
You don’t need to feel completely ready.

Sometimes your entire life changes on a random Wednesday because you finally become unwilling to keep participating in something that is hurting you.

But deciding is one thing. Following through when it gets uncomfortable is another.

Some of the biggest changes in my life required support, accountability, and people who had already walked through what I was trying to walk through.

I had to be willing to say, “Okay. Show me how.”

That experience is a huge part of why I coach people now.

Because sometimes you already know you’re done. The hard part is figuring out what comes next.

What do I do tomorrow?
What do I do when I get scared?
What do I do when the old version of me feels more familiar than the person I’m becoming?

That’s where support can change everything.

That’s what Produce Queen Coaching is all about.

A place where you can finally say, “That’s enough of that,” and have someone beside you who will help you turn that sentence into action.
